Extremely Frustrated with Prime SA – 2 Months and My Car Still Not Repaired!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Prime SA. It’s been over two months since I lodged a claim to have my car repaired, and up to now, nothing has been done.

The entire process has been a nightmare, with constant back and forth between Prime SA and the panel beaters. Every time I call either of them, I’m given contradictory information or outright lies. I’ve been passed from one excuse to another without any real progress.

Today, I was told to take my car to the panel beaters to have it booked in, with the assurance that the parts were already there. I took time out of my day to go there, only to find out that the parts weren’t even at the panel beaters. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable.

I am currently forced to drive a damaged car—the only vehicle I have—while the people responsible for resolving this seem indifferent. I regret choosing Prime SA as my insurer, and this experience has left me completely frustrated, angry, and helpless.

This is unprofessional, unfair, and completely inconsiderate of the fact that I rely on my car daily. I am tired of chasing after updates and getting false promises in return.

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with Prime SA and the panel beater they appointed, SLEEQ Auto and Body Paint.

I submitted my claim over two months ago, and to this day, my car is still not repaired. I received a response from Prime SA on 26 May, explaining how the process works — which was not what I needed. I needed action, not delays.
On 23 June, I was told by SLEEQ that all parts were available and I should bring my car in. I did just that — I dropped off my vehicle, trusting the process. But now, it’s 9 July, and the car is still at the panel beater. Worse, I’ve now found out that a part is still missing, even though I was told everything was ready. I was never informed of this properly — the panel beater is hiding information and there has been no real communication from Prime SA either.

In the meantime, I was given a courtesy car for only 15 days, which I returned this Monday. I am now stranded without a car — and this is my only car.
This entire experience has been filled with false promises, lack of transparency, and complete disregard for me as a customer. The process is extremely slow, I have had to chase everyone down for updates, and no one seems to care that I am left without transport.

At this point:
  • I want Prime SA to provide a rental car immediately at no cost to me and without a deposit.
  • I want to know when my car will be ready — no more lies or excuses.

This has been an emotionally and financially draining experience. I regret choosing Prime SA. The service has been nothing short of a nightmare.
