Disgusting service
So disgusted by PrimeSA’s lack of communication and accountability. I lodged a claim in March and I was told only today that the engine repairs are not covered on my policy yet I’ve been paying my premiums without fail. I regret the day I joined Prime South Africa.

09 Nov 2025, 14:51 Hello Zee K,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about your disappointment.
The repair process itself can be influenced by several factors, including the extent of the damage and the need to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards - this can sometimes affect timelines and outcomes.
We understand how frustrating it must be to receive a claim outcome that doesn’t meet your expectations, especially after consistently paying your premiums. Engine-related claims can be complex and are assessed according to the specific terms of your policy. In your case, we arranged for a dealer assessment of the engine after the other repairs had been done to ensure a smooth process between the different service providers.
Our Market Conduct Team has already been alerted to your experience and will assist in resolving your queries.
Rest assured, our nationwide network of SAMBRA-approved repairers is committed to delivering high-quality repairs, ensuring your car is restored to its pre-incident condition.
Committed to resolving your concern with care.
Kind regards,
The Prime SA Team

09 Nov 2025, 15:35My main concern is that you knew that my car had an engine damage and let me continue paying premiums and excess knowing that you will not pay for the damages. I have been to NTT VW on the 7th of November and they showed me Emails where panelcity was asking for a full quote for a new engine including labour.I want to tell you that I will not go and collect my car until I receive my fully paid excess amount together with the premiums I paid since the day I lodged a claim. If this is how you treat people, well it stops now. I will expose your ***** ways to the public. I have suffered long enough with my child. If you want medical reports from her doctors and see how often I have taken her to them ( since March) for flue treatment I will kindly send them. You don’t know the emotional damage you have caused me. I assure you prime South Africa, I won’t be silent.
