DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER DISAPPOINTMENt

My car was ****** and receovered on 05-09-2026. I logged a claim with Prime SA but since that day it's been 1 struggle after another. I just keep getting disappointed.

Claim number: CL*** . They told me on Friday 11-09 to pay excess which I did and they have confirmed receipt of payment however there's now a sudden hold on the account as the funds went to the premiums account instead of the excess account. Mind you both these accounts belong to Prime.

I must now wait another 48 hours for them to internally move the funds from 1 account to another before the can proceed with my claim. That time my car is sitting at the panelbeaters, the panelbeaters are awaiting quote approval and authorisation from Prime. I've been struggling to get to work for the 2nd week now and their so called "travel allowance" does not even cover half my transport expenses.

Prime SA is by far the worst when it comes to claims, zero empathy, bad customer services, you must always be calling them requesting updates, they never call.

They've made me realise cheap is not always best, I need to seriously shop around for a better insurance provider. The stress I've been put through over the past week and a half is something I never want to experience ever again in this lifetime.
