Complaint ***

To whom it may concern Complaint Accident Date : 28 October 2023 Claim Date: 30 October 2023 Vehicle Claim number : ‪***‬ Third Party Claim number : ‪***‬ Vehicle Claim Claim process – No tangible timelines, Outcomes are delayed. Continuous feedback lacks and thus the customer is not kept abreast. Whats the purpose of an App if it does not fulfil its Holistic purpose.

Fire and Forget or this instance Claim but be forgotten.

Policy canceled but important aspects such as Tracker Units cannot be disabled.

Third party Claims Process is just awry and if not for my continuous follow up I am sure it would not have been lodged.

I expected a much quicker turnaround time but I guess driving daily past your neighbours damaged wall is none of the Insurers concern.

Socio relations impacted but again that’s none of your concern as well.

Informed not to fix the wall as it may prejudice my claim but if I knew a neighbour would be impacted at my expense then I would have rather proceeded.

Not having a mode of transport is one thing but being left frustrated with a process that far from efficiency and disregards client centricity is a totally different level of low.

New business acquisition is so efficient and really client centric and premiums collected ever timeously but WOW Claims just adds to one's word... To an extent that I believe I would have been better off with no cover.

Reviewer Update
Update and I will allow users to rate this service, called on the 30th giving me feedback on the claim outcome, sent me a document confirming loss, payout amount and tops as soon as I suit the document will payment be finalized. Alot of hogwash. As at the ***3, no payment. Instead this inept service had the audacity to call me on the ***3 to request my authorisation to move the car to their salvage yard as I would incur storage costs... I laughed in response and asked whether they could collect and tow their car to their salvage yard as I ceded my rights on the ***3... I then also stated why Should I be the one keeping PMD abreast of their own processes. ..On the ***3 to my dismay they inform me about the NATIS PAPER needing to be in their possession and the car also needing to be at the GoBid salvage yard before they can make payment. If ever a process frustrated someone this would definitely rank as one up there. Note my vehicle is still at Technispray and shame I drive past my broken, lonely girl dusty as hell waiting to arrive at her new home of salvage. Guess a flatbed will take another week. Also I got called ***3 informing me that Postnet would collect the papers though I had representatives from COURIERIT that collected it on the ***3 via waybill number ***8.

Hello Morris W,

Thank you for alerting us of your concern.

We are deeply sorry to hear about your recent experience.

At PMD we are continuously working on improving our app and other communication channels to provide our customers with real-time updates. We understand the importance of clear and timely communication and regret that we have not met your expectations in this regard.

While there was some confusion regarding the collection of your Natis document and the process that followed, we are pleased to note that your claim has been successfully paid.

With PMD comprehensive cover your basic excess reduces to zero on all claim-free policies - and it does so within a surprisingly short period of time.

Kind regards,
The PMD Team
