Clients, please beware of PMD they are ****s

Here's the updated review:

_1/5 stars - Disappointing Experience with Prime SA Claims Department (PMD)_

_I'm extremely disappointed with the handling of my claim by Prime SA Claims Department (PMD), which was unfortunately deemed invalid. My vehicle was collected by PMD's towing company and sent to their assessment center, and I was asked to collect it and pay towing charges. Furthermore, I was informed that I would be charged storage fees if I don't collect my vehicle within 10 days. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the battery was missing, and I'm concerned about the security and care of my vehicle. Despite sending an email with photographic evidence, I received no response, and the lack of communication has added to my stress and frustration. The claim process has been poorly managed, and I'm shocked by the lack of attention to detail._

_To resolve this, I request that PMD:_

1. _Investigate the theft of my vehicle's battery and take necessary actions._ 2. _Provide a detailed breakdown of towing charges and storage fees._ 3. _Provide necessary documentation to collect my vehicle._

_I hope PMD takes my situation seriously and resolves these issues promptly._

_Rating:_ 1/5

Hello Yagi****an,

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve reviewed your concerns and would like to address them.

Your claim was assessed in line with your policy terms, and it was found that the fire resulted from a pre-existing overheating issue, which is not covered. As you may know, Towing and storage costs are only covered for approved claims.

We’ve escalated the matter of the missing battery to our towing team for investigation and will provide feedback soon. Additionally, we’ll ensure all necessary documentation is sent to assist with the collection of your vehicle.

Our Market conduct team will be in contact to provide you with further clarity.

At Prime, we’re committed to offering innovative, budget-friendly insurance products paired with compassionate service. While this outcome may not align with your expectations, we remain dedicated to treating all claims fairly and transparently.

Should you need further assistance, please contact us at [insert contact details].

Kind regards,
The Prime Team

Reviewer Update

"Dear Prime South Africa,

I am writing to express my strong disagreement with your assessment that the fire was caused by a pre-existing overheating issue. This conclusion is not only unfounded but also raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and impartiality of your investigation.

When I went to inspect my vehicle on Monday, I was shocked to find that it had been dumped at your inspection center. It's alarming that within two days, you have reached a conclusion without providing me with any evidence or a detailed report. I requested the investigation report on Monday, and to date, I have not received it.

I urge you to provide the report as soon as possible and to refrain from making unsubstantiated claims. I am more than willing to provide proof to substantiate my claims and demonstrate the inconsistencies in your assessment.

I am concerned that your company's actions may be indicative of a larger issue with your claims process, and I believe it's essential to bring this to the attention of others who may be affected.

Sincerely,
Y Munsami
