Claim approved and then rejected

In December 2014 my vehicle was ******. After a few days I submitted a claim with Prime Meridan for my insurance cover. After following the necessary procedure, my claim was approved and I was told it would be processed. However, given that my car was still owing finance to Standard Bank, Prime Meridan told me that they will not be making any payment to me but directly to Standard Bank in January 2015.A few months later, when I contacted P.M enquiring about the payout I was told that one form was not submitted.so tell me who's fault was that. That was negligent on the person handling the claim.I then asked for the form to be forwarded to me, I completed it & sent it. I had to constantly get ahold of people from Prime Meridan to get feedback Then I was informed that my claim would not be paid out because my vehicle was recovered and was not informed when I called them for a tow truck to say my vehicle was recovered and needed my vehicle fetched from the police pound.I had to pay over 15000 from my own pocket to get the car on the road again.

All this is utter ****
I paid my premiums on time.
I want my payout what I am owed

Hello Logesan,

We are always willing to put our failings right, but you are not being altogether fair with us here, are you?

Our records reflect that you failed to inform us of the very important fact that your vehicle was recovered a mere 7 days after your vehicle was ******. Only when your vehicle was about to be deregistered, did you inform us of this very important fact.

You could not provide us with proof of any damage sustained to your vehicle during the incident and did not allow us the opportunity to assess the damage.

Should you require any further assistance, do not hesitate to write to us directly.

Kind Regards,
The PMD Team
