Cancel policy
Only use PMD insurance if you want problems they will sweet talk you to take their insurance but after that you don't get any assistance from them after confirmation that policy is cancelled they still deduct the premiums and if you phone them they send you from one person to the other person and afterwards you have to wait 40 days for the refund

06 Feb 2025, 13:32 Hello Hannes,
Thank you for your post. We value all feedback as we continuously strive to improve our service.
Our foremost objective is always to treat our policyholders fairly. Part of this ethos is ensuring thoroughness and quality handling interactions.
Kindly note due to the protections afforded to all South Africans by the National Consumer Protection Act and banking rules we are not allowed to enforce a debit order without your express consent and you are further allowed to reverse or stop payments up to 40 days. Due to this protection, we are only able to submit for refund requests after 40 days have lapsed.
Our Market Conduct Team will be in contact with you and provide you with comprehensive feedback on your matter.
We are pleased to re-confirm that unlike with many other insurers, with Prime the excess payable when you claim under comprehensive cover reduces to absolute zero - and in a remarkably short period of time.
Kind Regards,
The Prime SA Team
