Bad service

I am really disappointed with pmd, on the 7th of March my car was affected by the heavy rain fall, the towed me and 2 days later they call and said they are writing off the car, I asked at what grounds and also asked for the assessment report but the lady said she has escalated the matter 2 to 3 weeks later they called again saying they are rejecting the claims because I drove on water on purpose and I said I don’t think a normal human with a GCS of 15/15 can do that, I still asked for the assessments report but they refused still to give me, now they are telling me I am owing them R5900 for towing and storage. And they automatically cancel my claim, why? it was a natural disaster I couldn’t stop the rain and I was already on the road and they handled my claim really bad, first it was write off and I didn’t agree because I wasn’t provided supportive documentation then claim is invalid, how were you writing it off if you knew claim was invalid hawa PMD . I know I am just a girl child but don’t play me like this because I was gentle and nice, I had a rude person handling my claims but multiple people were calling me giving me useless updates.

At Prime, we are dedicated to provide fair and transparent outcomes and all our decisions are grounded in basic principles of insurance.

We acknowledge that natural disasters and circumstances beyond our clients' control happen; however, it remains important to stay vigilant on the road and not take unnecessary risks. Our records indicate that your claim was rejected after your own admission that you attempted to drive through a waterlogged road, which is specifically excluded. We assure you that all circumstances were considered when making the decision.

Our Market Conduct Team is already in contact with you and will walk you through the decision step by step.

Remember that you can simplify your insurance experience with Prime's self-service portal. Check your cover, update drivers, and get the documents you need in just a few clicks.

Please send me the records that indicate the information above, because it was heavily raining and the was no shelter near me, if I may ask was I supposed to stop under the tree and the tree fall , you will still say is negligence. I stopped but water channelled towards me. Because to my understanding I feel like you are saying on a clear day I drove directly towards a river
