Bad insurance
Ever since I had car insurance I've never had an insurance as bad as "Prime Meridian Direct" ill never recommend PMD to any of my friends or family members. I was assured that my excess amount would be R5000, which would reduce every month until it reached zero after 36 months, and that no extra money would be sought during the claim. Saturday, April 7, 2022, I was involved in a hit-and-run accident. I obviously did not have the opportunity to obtain third-party information, and as a result, I am being told that I must pay an excess of R8100 because I did not provide any third-party information. How was I supposed to do so when someone flees the scene?
When I contacted to ask why I have to pay R8100 when I had been told of R5000, they said my policy had been amended four months after I had purchased it. Why do you make changes to my policy without informing me? And I've only had the policy for four months, and you've already updated it without informing me. Please don't choose this insurer "PMD." I'm now pursuing legal action.
