 Hello Zipora portia,

Thank you for your post.

We wish to reassure you that client service is extremely important to us. The time you have taken to bring your concerns to our attention is sincerely appreciated. At prime we go to great lengths to ensure clients understand their policies and how their cover works.

You will recall that an excess is a self-insured portion paid by clients on all approved claims, the return of which can not be guaranteed due to certain factors. Third-party recoveries usually do not have a timeframe- and can take up to as far as two years.

Our third party team have confirmed that they are committed to getting the recovery finalised and our Market Conduct Team will be in contact with you and will address your queries directly.

Assuring you of our continues best endeavours on your behalf.

Kind regards,
The Prime SA Team
