Bad customer service and car not in good condition

My car was involved in an accident on 3 Sep 22, and I got it on 3 Jan 23 and is not in good condition. It took too long for my car to be fixed. Moreover, the headlamp was replaced with a local part which is old, the rim was not replaced, and the fender is not original. As a result, the bonnet is not aligned with the fender. Why should I pay for insurance if I will be told that my car is out of warranty only when insurance is supposed to pay my claim. These local parts are down grading the standard of my car. This is completely unacceptable and not what I signed up for. "This is what they say in response", Vehicle is out of warranty thus we are allowed to use local headlamp. Windscreen is not related as there was no impact. "Which is not true.". No proof that the rim cannot be replaced. On who's permission are they allowed to use parts that are unsuitable for the car.

Your response is noted. However your automated response is not helping at all. I cannot wait a further 2 days for feedback on the issue that you are aware of. I need a consultant to contact me and explain why local parts were used to fix my car whereas the panel beater made PMD's assessor that the fender and head lamp do not match correctly with the car. PMD's assessor must be held accountable for such ignorance. The head lamp is old and malfunctioning to make matters worse. I have just paid an access amount of R139595 for bad service which is completely out off line. It is the company's responsibility to ensure that they hire competent staff that knows what they are doing.

DEAR PMD TEAM

IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT I HAVE TO SEND THIS TYPE OF FEEDBACK AFTER YOU PROMISED THAT MY CAR WILL BE FIXED IN REASNONABLE TIME. WE ARE BACK TO SQAURE ZERO AS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER TWO WEEKS AND NO REPAIRS ARE DONE. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE MATTER IS WITH THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT AND THANDI IS DEALING WITH IT.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RETURING CLAIM ALL BECAUSE OF THE INITIAL, POOR PANEL BEATING THAT WAS DONE TO MY CAR. ALSO CONSIDER THAT I HAD TO WAIT FROM 05 SEP 22 TO 03 JAN 23 TO GET MY CAR FIXED. IF THE CAR WAS FIXED PERFECTLY FROM THE BEGINNING, I WOULD NOT BE RUNNING BEHIND YOU TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE YOU PROMISE YOUR CLIENTS.

I CAME TO YOUR OFFICES ON THE 05TH of JAN 2023 AND YOUR ASSESSOR VERBALLY PROMISED THAT THE PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED IN A MATTER OF DAYS. I AM UTTERLY DISGRUNTLED THAT TODAY WE ARE AT THE END OF THE SECOND WEEK AND I AM INFORMED THAT THANDI FROM CLAIMS DEPARTMENT IS STILL HANDLING THE MATTER.

WHAT MAKES MATTERS WORSE IS THAT NO ONE FROM PMD BOTHERS TO KEEP ME UPDATED. I HAVE TO KEEP ON MAKING FOLLOW UP MEANWHILE I AM ALSO AT WORK, HENCE I PAY YOU MONTHLY INSTALMENTS WITHOUT FAIL. IT IS VERY DISRUPTING THAT I HAVE TO CALL ALL THE TIME.
HOW DOES PMD TEAM PLAN TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS BY PROVIDING POOR SERVICE AND NOT KEEPING TO ITS PROMISE. CAN THIS ISSUE BE ATTENDED TO BECAUSE THE MAJOR PANEL BEATING WAS DONE. IT CANNOT TAKE WEEKS TO (REPLACE A HEAD LAMP APPROPRIATELY, ALIGN A FENDER, DOOR, AND REPAIR A RIM). IN THE END, SHOULD THERE BE NO WAY FORWARD BEFORE THE END OF BUSINESS DAY, IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT I HAND THIS TO MY ATTORNEY SINCE I HAVE BEEN SENT FROM PILLAR TO POST WITHOUT A SOLUTION. 😣
