Accident claim payout

17 Jan 15 I was involved in an accident-the towing company loaded both my bakkie and the person responsible for the accident car. That week his insurance informed me I need to claim from my insurance then they can claim back from them. Prime direct forwarded me claim forms which I completed and sent back. I had to phone to hear that an assessor must 1st go to check the damage. Days past & I phoned again to be informed that I need to take my bakkie to another panel beater as that 1 is to expensive. I said no as how am I going to get the bakkie there?Days past again-I phoned to be informed they're still busy with the claim. Today (after I phoned) I'm informed that they will pay R3000 out to the panel beater (damage is R114 000.00). Was told that this isn't comphrensive insurance cover and seeing my policy is only 6 months old, they're not paying more. It's said all is record when I took the policy out-but this wasn't told to me that it's not full insurance. Since I took the insurance out via phone, I haven't even received my policy documents but every month they take their premium. Why do they then \sell"affortable insurance if that isn't what it is-have 4 bakkies on my policy"""
