4th week waiting for an Outcome on my Claim

Today its my 4th Week since I have submitted my Claim on PMD insurance , I submitted my Claim on the 16th of November 2020 and everything that they requested including the Photos of my damaged Car , on Tuesday the 17th of November I received an SMS saying that my Car has been deemed a write off according to an Assessment that was made on it and I asked which assessment and I was told that an Assesor came to view the Accident scene , ohk I waited as I was told that within 10working days I will have an outcome on my Claim but I never got any response instead I will always call PMD and one day I spoke to some guy and he told me that they cannot give me an outcome on my Claim because they are still waiting for an Assesor's report which I ddnt have a problem with. An Assesor came on the 3rd week which was on Friday 4 Dec 2020 and on Monday I called PMD to ask about an outcome of my claim they said on Tues or Wed I will get an outcome , I called again yesterday which was Thursday I was told I will get an outcome today Friday. Today the 11th of Dec 2020 I called PMD to ask about an outcome they told me that they are still busy with my Case and I must give them another 48hours, so it means nextweek it will be my 5th Week waiting for PMD , Im really not happy with the service and the way people are complaining about PMD Im asking myself if PMD will pay for my Car because people are always complaining that they awalys reject claims , PMD has got a very bad Publicity. PMD I want to know what is the delay to finalise my Claim because you have always said you are waiting for an Assesor's report but now that you have it I dont even get an answer on the delay.

Dear Seipati S

We apologise for the perceived delays in processing your claim. It is particularly troubling to hear of your experience as client service is important to us.

At PMD we always do all in our power to expedite the validation of our policyholder’s claims, to avoid unnecessary costs to both of us. During the claim’s validation information supp**** by clients’ needs to be verified by independent sources as far as possible to ensure a fair outcome.

A review of the claim confirms that our staff has kept you as well informed as can be reasonably expected. We are pleased to confirm that the validation of the claim has been finalised and the outcome communicated.

You no doubt remember that unlike many other insurers, with PMD comprehensive cover your claim excess reduces to zero - and it does so within a surprisingly short period of time.

Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.

Kind regards,

The PMD Team
