Hello deduples,
Thank you for taking the time to bring your concern to our attention. We are sorry to hear about your alleged delays on your claim, as we understand that you were informed of the approval of your claim on the 28th of October, 2016.
Unfortunately, private towing yards do charge exorbitant fees for towing and storage. It is for this reason, as a service to our clients, that we arrange with various towing and storage providers throughout South Africa to assist with the transportation and storage of accident damaged vehicles at rates far lower than those of private towing yards. Because your vehicle was taken to a private storage facility, the release fee charged does affect the settlement amount of your claim.
Please note that our Claims Department is still urgently waiting the final release fee invoice from you to enable us to finalise the settlement of your claim as quickly as possible.
Assuring you of our continued best endeavours on your behalf.
Kind Regards,
The PMD Team
