3 months to process an insurance claim

I had an accident on the 14 of July coming out of work the 3rd party involved jumped a stop street and right in front me and i could not avoid the collision.I have battled to get the claim settled and am having trouble at work because of having no transport.why isn't this explained to you when you leave a reputable insurance company to come over at the time of joining. This is quite ludicrous and really not acceptable <br> Ian Thomson.

Hello ianpeter,

Client Service is extremely important to us and we sincerely appreciate the time you have taken to bring your concern to our attention.

When explaining the claims process you were informed that one of the unique features of our motor insurance product (apart from its market leading premium rates) is the fact that at the time of purchase, we do not inconvenience our clients nor expect them to go to the considerable time and expense of delivering their vehicles to a testing station for a pre-inspection. As a result, we are unfortunately exposed to a higher than usual degree of risk and we have had to develop a very robust claims administration process in terms of which each case is meticulously assessed.

Furthermore, as you are aware, your claim involved a third party and for your own protection we were obliged to obtain thorough details of the accident from the third party which has caused an unavoidable delay.
We are pleased to confirm that the investigation of your claim has been completed and our records reflect that your claim has been scheduled for final decision, where after the result will be communicated to you.

You're sincerely, the PMD Team.
