3 months and still no car
It's now been 3 months since I've last seen my car.<br> <br> The delay was due to Prime Meridian claims department taking their time in finalizing my claim.<br> <br> Now the panelbeater will not release my car until payment has been received from Prime Meridian.<br> <br> I have called the claims department to find out how much longer I still have to wait for this payment to be made and I never get a definite answer or exact date of expected payment.<br> <br> All I ask is for the repairs to be paid so I can have my car back, please<br> <br> Waiting for 3 months without a car is unacceptable kindly advise when payment will be settled so I can get my car from the panelbeater

It is truly unfortunate that you have had this experience which is most unusual indeed. We strive always to finalise claims as expeditiously as possible as it is in all of our interests to do so.
After having conducted a thorough review of the progress on your claim, it came to light that your chosen repairer had submitted incomplete repair documentation which was the main cause of the delay. This has however now been resolved and our claims department has given their assurance that the claim payment will be settled soon.
This notwithstanding, it's reassuring to know that not only will your premiums not increase following your claim, in terms of your PMD MotorThrift policy, they will not ever increase.
