Failure to respond to e-mails and finalise claim
Primary Asset (\PA") client drove into the back of my mother's car. He admitted liability and the matter was referred to PA. My mother submitted the required forms on 15 October 2015. PA indicated that the claim would be finalised approximately 15 November 2015.
E-mail enquiries subsequent to referral to the third party claims department went unanswered and we only obtained feedback when we phoned and insisted on feedback.
On 18 December 2015"

21 Dec 2015, 16:11Hello AHSTEYN,
Whilst we strive to approve all valid claims within the shortest possible time we have developed a robust claims process in terms of which we meticulously assess all claims, for the protection of not only your mother but all our valued clients.
As your mother is aware and as noted in our Third Party claim documents, third party claims can only be processed upon the finalisation of our client's claim.
During the validation of the claim, it was noted that the quotation submitted was grossly inflated which prompted a re-assessment of the damages to your mother's vehicle. Following which the final repair cost summary sent to your mother reflected the reasonable and fair repair cost of all the damages to her vehicle as determined by our appointed assessor and included the repair of the PDC bumper covers referred to above.
As such, we look forward to receiving your acceptance of our offer of settlement.
Kind Regards,
The PMD Team.
