Terrible service and nasty attitude from Primacare

<p>We hired a hospital bed from Primacare for my dad coming home from hospital. The bed was delivered by a surly driver who had forgotten the head and foot boards. My dad passed away a few hours after we got him home and Primacare promptly collected the bed again within 24 hours of delivering it, charging R1200 upfront for this. Manfred is refusing to consider refunding us any of the 3 month rental amount we paid upfront even though he has the bed back to rent again. He was shockingly rude and offensive to both my sister and I. He claims this happens all the time, and told me in a very nasty letter that it's expensive and time consuming to clean the "diseased" and "contaminated" beds. There are other bad reviews about Primacare and their appalling attitude and service on hellopeter (https://www.hellopeter.com/primacare) google reviews, and even on their own Facebook page (Manfred gave his company a 5 star review though). Do not use Primacare - Medop (medop.co.za) is an alternative, and Wynberg Pharmacy in Cape Town. Primacare takes advantage of vulnerable people and their families.</p>
