Heartless selfish beings..

I am so extremely disgusted by the lack of humanity and service received by the nurses at this hospital. My cousin was just over 4 months pregnant and started experiencing heavy cramping Friday night. We rushed her to the hospital, just to find that we must wait 30min for service whiles the staff are having a ball laughting at the patients injured. I starting getting irritable questioning the service delivery because an elderly woman has been there since 6pm after she had a stroke, and its around 11pm. After i lost my cool only then did one of the male nurses get up to assist my cousin, not even paying attention to the elderly woman. They examined my cousin, gave her pain block and some other tables and sent her on her way.

Sunday morning she started bleeding, we rushed her back only for this one nurse to tell her unfortunately they cannot decide whose baby to save so all of them must just wait. She waited 3hours before they could even get her file by then she was told you are miscarrying and there's nothing to be done.

She was indused and she had to give birth on her own while the nurse was still looking for a drip to put in...imagine your first baby you have to birth on your own. This nurse whose name i didn't get took the stillborn baby stuffed him in a bag infront of my cousin without any remorse and walked away.

I don't even know why we writing these reviews because nothing will ever change. For those of us who can't afford medical aid this is what we must endure. Dirty hospitals with illiterate, inhuman beings with no empathy for the next person.

I just wish the department of health would hold such people accountable. Worst of all none of them have name tags so those that are passionate about patient care are now with the once that are just there to show off the uniform and walk over the helpless.

It is sad to see where the country is heading, and its disgusting and disgraceful.
