I have never felt so small in my life, I approach the court for 1 new maintenance order and 1 increase. The first lady that help me start by asking me with an attitude why I have so many applications, after explaining my case, she said indeed my orange card they gave me 2 years ago or can't ask for an increase and called her supervisor who told me the same thing. I then found my case nr and they were irritated with me and scond me on how I must not give them a hard time t do their job and she went on telling me why do I want an increase because no companies or government employees got increase, looking at my t-shirt, she then ask demeaningfully or u bank employees got increase? I apologized, took the correct form to complete and sit down, I don't understand any african languages except English and Afrikaans. But sitting down heard the conversations of the other ladies pitying me, saying y r this ladies so rude and what does my salary and the father's salary have anything to do with them. I already feel like a failure running to court because I am not woman enough to provide for my kids. I now felt less than a person and women doing this to us
