Claudius Makombe is a con artist

I got this company to make and install an automated swing gate in my driveway. I paid the 70% deposit at the beginning of December 2025 for the gate to be installed at the end of December. First, there was delays in manufacturing the gate because he had overbooked himself. Then he came to install the side panels of the gate and left the gate itself in my garage because he could not source the gate motor in time from his supplier. Then he disappeared for a month and a half, claiming he was in Limpopo fixing a farmer's electric fence and kept being held up there. Now he is finally back in Pretoria, but he cannot come and install the gate because we had agreed that he must automate it but he still has not sourced the motor. In the meantime, the side panels he installed are rusting and pieces are falling off the gate. Do not use this fly-by-night company!!
