If you like wasting money go to them...

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Pretoria Brake and Clutch. In October last year, I took my vehicle in for a clutch replacement, paying over R6,700 for the job. Within a short while, the pilot bearing started making noise. When I took it back, they agreed to replace the bearing free of charge, which I appreciated at the time.

However, within a month of that repair, the entire clutch failed completely. Upon inspection, the clutch liners were completely worn out, and it was evident that they had spray-painted over the parts to make them appear new. To make matters worse, the pilot bearing was once again severely damaged. The bolts on the clutch were loose and could be removed by hand. One bolt was missing on the clutch cable housing. Utter negligence!

Despite their clear negligence, Pretoria Brake and Clutch refused to take any responsibility for their subpar work. I was forced to replace the entire clutch again within just three months, paying out of pocket for something that should have been done correctly the first time. Their lack of accountability and poor workmanship made it feel as though they had simply taken my money without delivering a proper service.

I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting this company with their vehicle. If you value your time and money, look elsewhere for a mechanic who stands by their work.
