Estate Agency withholding deposit

Pretor's ********* business practice has lead to me writing this post. Pretor is withholding our deposit in clear violation of the Rental & Housing Act by claiming damages that was made after the new tenants moved in. Our outgoing inspection was done after we moved out(without us being present), but only 8 days after new tenants moved in. <br> <br> Now they are claiming that we pay for the damages, two months after we have already moved out.(Were it states that damages must be claimed within 21 days)<br> <br> Pretor is also charging us to pay for washing the carpets, but it clearly states in the inspection of the previous tenant and with our moving-in inspection the poor state of the carpets and how filthy it was. It was never cleaned on the previous tenant's account, now we have to pay. <br> <br> Pretor decides which rules and laws to follow in our rental contract. Just as it suits them.<br> <br> We left the premises in a much better condition than what we found it. <br> <br> All we ask is to be treated fairly. <br> I warn future tenants of Pretor, be aware of their ********* business dealings with regard to contract breach, even if the facts are presented to them.<br> <br>
