I had an incident in the complex that I live in. Someone drove into my car. I reported the incident to the security manager so that I can get the footage to see whom it was. The security manager informed me that the report was given to the Body Corporate and that they would give me feedback. I waited and not got back to me. I immediately suspected that they were covering up for someone so I involved my lawyers. When my lawyers contacted them we first got a response from their Portfolio Assistant Michele Beukes to say, "There won’t be any video footage as there wasn’t cameras in the rest of the complex five months ago." This was clearly false. When I pointed out that there has always been cameras at Piccolo Complex she then responded, "Please be advised that the Body Corporate only keep footage for a month or two thus we are not able to assist with the evidence that you require."

The incident was reported immediately when it happened - this means the delay tactics were deliberate. The excuse of the footage being kept for two months is irrelevant as a security report was given to the body corporate so this is not something they would need to go into their "non-existent" archives for.

This blatant and arrogant modus operandi shows that the Pretor Property group is a shady operator where employees will alter and **********ly discard important pieces of information to protect their friends and families.
