Bad Customer Service Prestons Liquor in Amalinda in East London.

On Sunday 15 July 2018 we visited our local Liquor offsale Prestons in Amalinda to buy some booze, When we got into the shop, its a self service store that we often visit to buy alcohol because its on our neighbourhood. When we still buying my aunt who was with us in the shop asked for a toilet, she was very pressed and is also diabetic. We kindly asked the guy who was assisting us for the private room for my aunt as there are no public toilets around in that centre. We were very worried that she would mess on her self as she was very desparate. This guy told us to wait as he was gonna ask from the store manager to help her from the staff toilet since he was seeing the urgency of the matter. He came back saying the manager first asked which customer requested a toilet and the guy pointed at us. The manager then told us he cant assist without giving any firm reason to this. When we were trying to beg he then told us he wont do it we ca go and buy somewhere else.(What kind of customer service is that when you ask for something you just told to live the store??) We have been customers at that store since its opening many years ago since we have lived in that neighbourhood for 21 years now and even my little sister use to work there over school holidays because we are fami**** with all other Manager's prior to this one that illtreated us and we felt he was being ****** because if the toilet was not being given to customer's why was he even asking who needed the toilet?? He should have stood up there and say NO irrespective of who was asking. Then we all started arguing with him and he was out of control. When i was trying to speak some sense into him he then started to mention that we never said my Aunt was diabetic and then i said you never even gave us a chance to say anything all you said was we can go buy somewhere else because you dont offer Public toilets(That we understand but we were faced with an emergency at that moment. After all that commotion we decided to live him and go pay for our booze. When we got to the cashier the lady said she cant serve us as per instruction from her Manager yhoooo it all started all over again then we said if you dont allow us to pay it means you are giving us this booze for free when we heading to the door not even meaning to leave the store with it he started fighting my brother and teared my Brother's jacket. We left the booze by the door and we were very angry with what we feel was a racial act and bad customer service. I just hope there are not many clients that are treated like this and have no grounds to complain. Because the majority of the customers there a black. I hope this will be sorted and very much dissapointed with the shop that i have used for 2 decades to give us such a treatment!
