Violation of the right to accurate information

I bought a 5kg brown sugar from President hyper on the 3rd November 2017.Weve been using it to make tea and other stuff. Today 09 Nov as I was busy mixing the ingredients to make a cake the sugar started becoming bubbly and eventually it turned into a foam. When I checked the Expiry date there was only a date and month ,the year was scratched off with a black marker. Tuesday the 07 th my 6 yr old daughter had a runny stomach and I was wondering why. I’m gonna tell my family and friends not to shop in that store again!!!! Is this their way of making quick money by selling expired product??I took the pictures and I’m going to take this up!!
