Unfair, inhuman, stinky customers service.

On the 07 February 2018 around 17:10, I visited President Hyper Krugersdorp, a man came close to me in pretense that he was reaching for an item in the fridge where they keep ******, garlic, peppers etc. Minutes later I reached in my bag to get my cellphone to call my sister I realised my cellphone was gone. I knew the person that must have taken it, as he is the only person that came close to me.

Immediately I them went to the security to report the matter, they told me to go report at the store manager. A man on a mobile chair approached, I was told he's the store manager, I then explained what has happened & I asked for a camera to be played because there is visible cameras in the store. The manager told me they don't have cameras in all the corners of the store especially where I claim the incident happened.

He started asking me if my phone was not put away safely, if the phone was out in the open for everyone to see & that next time I must put away my belongings because there is nothing he can assist with, especially that I didn't see him taking the phone. I

In closure he told me there is nothing he can assist with & that he was sorry. I told him that I feel like a victim & that the least he can do is play me the video maybe will see this guy walk out & see which direction he took & they will also know & be aware of who he is, maybe put up his picture to alert other customers of what he is capable of. The store manager shook his head still & said sorry ma'am. The entire time we were standing with the 1 security guy that asked for my number & tried to call my phone but it was already switched off, he promised to call me back once they find something. I know that was not going to happen because they don't know who this guy was.

I'm extremely disappointed about the manner in which he dealt with the matter & I feel like he did not care about us as customers but only about the money we bring in. My family, friends & myself will never visit this store ever again.

One of the store manager's responsibilities is to deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) & he failed to do so! Lastly my Right to a Healthy Environment as a customer was not met!
