I am currently a client of Preshnee Govender Attorneys Inc. (“PGA”) regarding the administration of a deceased estate that has been with the firm for several months .While I understand that deceased estate administration in South Africa involves external delays (the Master of the High Court, SARS, and municipalities), my issue with PGA is not just about time. It is about a severe lack of consistent communication, transparency, documentation, and meaningful progress. My experience with PGA has been deeply concerning:• The Interim Maintenance Runaround: Despite clear statutory allowances for the support of dependants, PGA has given me a complete runaround regarding interim maintenance for the minor child. I have received zero progress updates, zero clarity, and absolutely no financial support for the child's upkeep, despite ongoing requests.• Unanswered Questions & Delays: I have endured postponed meetings, unanswered emails, and long periods where I had to constantly beg for basic updates.• Withheld Critical Documents: I have not been given access to vital estate administration documents, including the Liquidation and Distribution (L&D) Account, the preliminary inventory, and official certified copies of the Letters of Executorship.• Unprotected Minor Assets: There are specific assets and bequests in the Will in which a minor beneficiary has a direct interest, including property, a vehicle, and personal belongings. PGA has failed to give me any assurance or proof that these assets have been properly catalogued or safeguarded. Their current whereabouts and conditions remain entirely unknown to me. While one team member handling collections was initially diligent, the transparency completely deteriorated toward the latter part of that process. When questions became specific, they were either ignored or only partially answered. Due to these red flags, I conducted due diligence over the weekend. I discovered numerous horrific public reviews from other clients raising the exact same red flags: systemic communication failures, excessive delays, lack of transparency, and poor client service, lack of accountability and more . Please check their google reviews sitting on 1.9 rating . When I posted generic, non-confidential questions on PGA’s public Facebook page asking how they reconcile these public complaints with their advertised commitment to client care and minor beneficiaries, PGA deleted my comments and blocked me from their page. Deleting legitimate questions and silencing a client instead of engaging professionally is a massive corporate red flag. Because a minor beneficiary’s constitutional and financial rights are being severely prejudiced. I am actively seeking intervention from the Legal Practice Council (LPC), the Master of the High Court, and the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development. I will not stop there. I will escalate this to investigative media platforms like Devi and Carte Blanche if necessary. I am not seeking special treatment. I am demanding transparency, strict accountability, professional diligence, and the immediate protection of a child’s livelihood. A deceased estate is not just a file to clear; it represents a parent's legacy and a child's future. Based on my experience, I strongly advise the public to exercise extreme caution before engaging PGA Inc.

So, I recently concluded a highly complex and emotionally taxing legal matter with the assistance of Mr Jonathan Tembo at Preshnee Govender Attorneys Inc. From start to finish, Jonathan handled my case with professionalism, genuine care, and unwavering commitment, even when the circumstances were extraordinarily difficult and the pressure was immense. What stood out most was Jonathan's humanity. At one of the lowest points during this process, he showed up personally to check on me. That is not something you expect from an attorney, and it is something I will never forget. He treated me not just as a client, but as a person. Jonathan communicated clearly, acted swiftly when urgency was required, and never made me feel alone in what was one of the most challenging periods of my life. The entire PGA team supported the process seamlessly. If you are looking for attorneys who will truly go into bat for you, heart, mind, and all, look no further than Jonathan Tembo and the team at Preshnee Govender Attorneys Inc. Thank you, Jonathan. You changed my life. 🙏
