Refund problems

I have placed an order with the above mentioned company late last year. Since the beginning of the year my financial situation changed and I had to cancel a few contracts and adjust my lifestyle. I had to cancel my order with the above mentioned company. On Friday the 2nd of May I phoned to cancel my order and sent an email with my banking details as requested. I asked how long it will take to get my money and whoever was assisting me told me it will take a day or two. I phoned on Monday to check the status of my request and was informed that the money should be in my account sometime during the day. I phoned again on Tuesday and was told different stories on the two occasions that I phoned. It's Wednesday around eleven in the morning when I phoned for the second time today, I've been told that my refund was processed yesterday and still needs to be verified by the bank. I just lost it because every time I call I get a different response as if I'm speaking to people from different companies, it's like no one has a clue as to how the refund system works. This is very frustrating to me, I cancelled because I need that money ASAP!!
