Prepaid24 - do not buy electricity from them
I purchased prepaid electricity on 16.8 for a particular meter online as per [URL Removed] channels and policy for R 400.
When trying to load this 2 weeks later my meter said Used. It did not load the meter with the R 400. I assume it meant that I had loaded/used it already. But I never loaded it.
I then contact [URL Removed] to sort this out on 1.09.2015. Paul Boshoff dealt with me, could not help and said he has to contact company where they buy electricity from and he will get back to me telephonically or by email. Nobody ever got back to me.
On 04.09.2015 I contact [URL Removed] again to follow up. They said they could not help and I have to contact the municipality for this query.
I am absolutely disgusted and shocked about this. I did not buy from municipality but from [URL Removed] so [URL Removed] has to liaise with me and sort this out. I have no idea who municipality contact is, who to contact .... thats why I bought from [URL Removed] in the first instance.
I would recommend that no one buys from them as you can loose money in a flash and no one there to assist you. I will not buy from them again. ****************.
Good day Nicole,
Thank you for taking our calls today and discussing your frustration with the token you are trying to load onto your meter.
We will continue to assist you with your query until there is a satisfactory result.
Prepaid electricity tokens are issued by the municipality themselves, they fully control token numbers and tariffs. We receive the tokens from your municipality and distribute them to you.
We enquired today and can confirm that the token is valid, but as we know it is not loading, hence our request to you to call your municipality and ask them to double check the token issued. Unfortunately this last call can not be made by us as they insist to speak to the client.
Our open invitation stands to reply on the email communication that was sent to you this afternoon and to keep us informed regarding the outcome of this call.
We strive to deliver excellent service and take your comments to heart. I apologise that you were not phoned in good time when our consultant promised that we would phone you.
I trust that after your call with the municipality we will understand what happened here.
Thank you for your help,
Kind Regards,
Prepaid24
