Poor Support from Prepaid24

I purchased electricity through Prepaid24. The first token issued was for the incorrect amount. It was also not calculated according to the sliding scale but at the highest tariff. I contacted Prepaid24 and a second token was issued for the outstanding amount. However, I did not receive any assistance as to the incorrect calculation and was told to take it up with the local municipality.

Hi Willie,

Thank you for taking my call.

Apologies for the experience you had earlier.

As discussed, your municipality have step tariffs and they issue the tokens according to their 2016/17 Tariff schedule.

In further investigation, Phalaborwa Municipality have limits of R2500 , hence the reason why your token was broken up in a R2500 and R500 token. The tariff were calculated correctly on these tokens, R2500 were issued first and thereafter the R500.

Should you need any further assistance regarding your Prepaid24 purchases, feel free to use our LiveChat functionality which is available daily from 6am to 12am for your convenience.

Kind Regards
