Help in resolving an account problem

<p>Being an 82-year old Transnet pensioner and having had to pay off a massive water account after a pipe burst last year in October, I was paying off in instalments - more than the normal account because I could not afford the full amount of R thousands in one fell swoop, I had no trouble until yesterday when I also bought electricity for the month, and suddenly the meter was blocked because of this other account not being fully settled for the first time since the incident, so I phoned Prepaid 24 and a kind lady by name of Vivienne made inquiries on my behalf after I had borrowed money to pay the balance of the outstanding water account - she went out of her way to try and sort the matter out and gave me the number of the elec.. dept to phone as she was getting nowhere with them, and I phoned the number only to be told they can only unblock my meter on Monday as they do not unblock meters over weekends. Nonetheless, all compliments to Vivienne for trying her best under trying circumstances. I hope that I have sufficient power until Monday - but if this department gives me problems I'll certainly make sure the world gets to know about it.... Thanks!</p>
