Unhappy with Premjis Rip-off

I have a Guess watch bought August 2019 and it stopped working in June 2020. I took it to Premjis Pavilion (where it was bought) and was told that I'd pay if it's the battery but if it's a mechanism issue I wouldn't pay because I still had a warranty. Now I got an sms to say that my watch is ready and I must pay R750, when I asked what the price included I was told "it's the battery and mechanism". When I argued the mechanism part, the young lady changes and says no it's the battery. How does Premjis charge R750 for a GUESS watch really??
