Preloved Bridal - Vuyiswa Motlhabane Stole My Wedding Dress

Please do not allow Preloved Bridal to sell your designer wedding dress on your behalf. The owner of the store, Vuyiswa Mothlabane, can be very charming and seem trust worthy but she is not!

After months of having my dress at her store I contacted her to make arrangements to come and collect my dress from her shop in Hyde Park. She then surprisingly told me that it was just sold that morning. I thanked her and asked if we can finalize my payment for the dress and she then came up with a lot of excuses as to why she couldn't pay me immediately - one being that she allows clients to pay off the wedding dress in monthly installments. I told her that is perfectly fine, but has nothing to do with me as this was not specified in our contract. She eventually paid me R5000 in three payments after which she disappeared and I still cannot get hold of her for the balance of my payment.

I would have never agreed to sell my beautiful Pronovias gown for just R5k and would have rather kept it for my daughter to play with or do a photo shoot.

There are numerous articles online about Vuyiswa Mothlabane as a young and upcoming entrepreneur, so it saddens me that this is how she conducts business. There are so many small businesses working hard to create a trusted name in the wedding industry but then you get people like Mrs. Mothlabane that pretends to be the face of a young South African entrepreneur and yet she is a complete *****!
