Despicable and shady deals with panel beaters

My vehicle was bumped in January 2022. The guy the bumped me found a panel beaters to have my vehicle repaired.

When contacting the Panel Beater (Preeminent Auto refinishers) in Robertville Industrial Park, West of Johannesburg and spoke to a lady by the name of Iris Moore (Apparently owner of the company) and requested the quotation she had sent to the guy who had bumped my vehicle, as this is my vehicle and need to confirm what you are quoting for on my vehicle and what is being fixed, I have the right to request the quotation.

Iris then advised that it is not my business to know what is being quoted and I should just be happy that my vehicle is being fixed. Considering that it has been 4 months already and after many phone calls to the guy who had bumped my vehicle, this leaves me to think that there is some shady dealings happening. This Panel Beaters is also not a VW approved panel beaters which was my request to the guy that bumped my vehicle. On the website it states Intense customer focus - yet to see this and after a phone call with the apparent owner this is far from true. Professional and entrepreneurial attitudes - This is a joke, If that is the owner of the company I'm very afraid to see how the rest of the company deals with customers.

I have even considered using this panel beaters, as the guy that bumped my vehicle is not in a financial means to repair my vehicle all at once. Its been 4 months and my vehicle is still not repaired. How a owner of a company can speak to customers in this manner and still have a business to run is beyond me. She then had the audacity to say she does not care if we recommend her to anyone else, can someone explain how this business is still running.

I would never recommend this business to anyone.
