Dishonest of Precision Tow in Service

On Thursday 19 Nov 2020, my sister in law was ****** after her car got a puncture. She drove to the nearest garage and in a few seconds Precision Tow in Service came and wanted to assist but she was still emotional. I arrived to check on her and assist her with anything. Immediately i jumped off the car the Towing guys were on me saying they are available to assist with towing the car and they have their own repair center that will assist in towing the car and they will not charge us if there car is fixed by them when the insurance has approved. They were a pain in the ear as i still had to attend to my sister in law and they kept n asking what's the next step, they have spoken with Outsurance and they have been authorized to to Tow the car. But one had to finalize with our insurance and not take their words, but i have to say they were a pain as to them more important was the business. They said if not fixed by them they will charge R1200.00 for the towing. At the end we allowed them to tow the car and were asked to sign the book that confirms that the car was towed by them. This was already around 2300hrs and we were all exhausted and nothing more was explained but that we will catch up the following day. They said to me they do not think anything will be done on assessing the car on the Friday because it close to the weekend.

On Friday the assessment was done and the outcome they gave saying the car is a write off which we did not agree as only the left tyre was damaged. On Monday we made arrangement of collecting the car and when we got the the story of what to be paid changed. They demanded R5000.00 for the towing which is not what we had agreed. The mention other things of the type truck which was used and the daily storage of R250 also changed and at the end we had to pay R10K. This is disgusting and **************** by Precision Tow In Service and Precision Repair in Centurion. On the towing document that we completed, at the back it had a lot of things which the guys never mentioned to us or clarified it which i think they took advantage that it was very late. Don't know how many people have been *****ed by this guys if their cars will not be fixed by Precision Repair at the end. We had opted to take the car and get a private person to fix it as we don't agree with the outcome of the assessor that the car is a write off, just for a left tyre damage.
