Took the money and vanished

Lloyd Fisher of Precision Home Maintenance and Plumbing Services is a *****. He came to my home on 7 January 2025, to replace tap water filters, which he said would cost R800 plus labour, probably amounting to R1 700. He broke the kitchen drawer while accessing the filter system, took the R800 and said he would be back in an hour. He has never come back, and refuses to answers my calls. He sent a long, rambling message about his problems late at night, which does not solve my problem. I have now contacted the filter company and discovered that the replacement filters are only R469 and labour R300, which comes to R769 in total. Expensive lesson learnt - do not use him.
