Gross unfair business practice against a client, Ms Shoeshoe Mopeli by PRECISION N4 GATEWAY SILVERLAKE

My name is Shoeshoe Mopeli, my contact details are as follows, *** and i reside at Moreletapark, PTA East. I am a member of AA. I requested AA to tow my Beetle, registration number CS48ZF GP for repair at Redline in Vereeniging. AA secured the resource for me which was Precision Towing. Their agent Paulo pleaded with me to give me the opportunity to give a better quotation than Redline . We then contacted AA to reroute my car to Precision Auto Spray in Silver Lakes or N4 Gateway and we agreed that if i am not happy with their quotation we will I will request the service from AA to take the car to Vereeniging. They were quiet for some time and I made a follow up with them and I spoke to their agent by the name of Ronaldo and he said he has a quotation for me and was about to email it to me and i immediately and i informed him that i am on my way to their place. On my arrival at the reception, i asked the receptiinist to call him and they asked a driver to take me to my car which i found stripped and the front bumper striped. On arrival Ronaldo introduced himself and told me cost for the damages to my car is R100 00.00. I was reeling with shock given the extend of the damages to my car. It was a dent to my bonnet and the fender was also damaged and the xenon light head lamp was to be replaced. I told him that the quotation was rediculous and requested that they assemble my car as i am taking it to vereeniging. e promised to negotiate on my behalf with management When i did not hear from him, I called and i was told it will be reduced to R75 000.00. They were trying to justify their quote that my fuse box is damaged and that they need to replace the bumper which i disagreed with them as it was not a big dent. In our argument they said if i take the car i am going to pay towing fee including the storage which i disputed. The car was taken there at the cost of AA and i have not caused any delays in fetching my car for them to charge me storage fee. They again said they will charge me release fee and i declined and told them if they do not release my car i will go to SAPS. They said Auto Spray and Towing service are two different entities and insisted that i am liable for release fees. I approached Paulo from Precision towing services a related everything to him and was shocked when i told him how much they have quoted me as he saw the damages as he was the one who was going to take the car to Vereeniging.He promised to speak to his management team about the matter. When I called Precision Auto Spray following up with Ronaldo, he told me that the matter have been sorted out with Precision Towing and that they have agreed that the towing service will send an email committing themselves to whatever they have agreed upon relating to release fee. On Monday morning, 9 May I called again and spoke with Ronaldo asking him whether they have assembled my car as i have made arrangement with the panel beaters in Vereeniging to bring in the car. He told me they have not received the email yet and that they will assemble my car once they have received the email from Precision Towing. I was shocked with disbelief to hear that they have not yet assembled my car. To this day I have not heard from them. My car has been towed to their premises on 26 April 2022 to date. I am reeling with frustration and they seem not to care. I suspect they are keeping my car for it to accumulate storage costs which is unacceptable. I made them aware that i will report the matter to SAPS for ******** possession of my car. I am writing this review asking hellopeter to intervene on my behalf . I do not have a car and am using rented car which must be returned after 30 days from the time the insurance of my another car rented for me. I am really appalled by such disrespect and extremely bad business practice against a client The towing truck of Precision that was dispatched to assist me by AA; the registration no. was HJ99HR GP and the driver was Paulo Ribeiro/ Reference No AA: ***
