Provoking commuters in train by Security guards.
I just got off the first car of the 0534 from Wetton train Station to Cape Town. A group of 8 man in uniforms with logo of the Sechaba Security services boarded the train a few stations after Wetton on they way to Cape Town. And one of them just called mature man some names which his response clearly indicated that he was offended and did like the connotation, despite his hostile response, the guy who appeared to be the team leader, as he was the only one with the radio out of the rest of the 8 engaged the commuter in an antagonizing manner after actually calling him a name he found offensive.
The Secheba personnel did not stop there, rather to apologize, he even went to the man s seat as we arrived in Cape Town to face him throwing threats and pointing his finger to the poor commuter´s face who helpless against this security guard who was armed and accompanied with 7 more colleagues of his.
I could help but feel disgusted and unsafe, while this security guards all along the way continued to call out the offensive name in a provoking way to sort of aggravate this commuter who appeared to be a senior citizen to a point he rose from his seat and they got into a verbal spar.
SO MUCH SO FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE COUNTRY with such treatment from people who are supposed to instil a feeling of security.
