Prasa lack of maintainance

Over the last four years the security situation on Prasa's property has deteriorated to a dangerous level. Referring to Tygerberg and Parow stations specifically, the number of muggings, violent assaults and ******ies on Prasa property is disturbingly high. I myself have been ****** on a number of occasions at Tygerberg Station and once at Parow Station. What makes it enticing for these people to rob commuters is that the lights in the tunnels do not work and repeated enquiries to the various station masters bares no fruit. On Tuesday morning last week a friend was ****** at gunpoint in the tunnel at 4.30 am on his way to take his train to work. He lost all his possessions. I spoke to the official on duty at the ticket office and he said these matters had repeatedly been raised at the Prasa weekly meeting, and all reply they get is that a contractor must be found to repair the lights. Must a commutor be shot and ****ed before Prasa takes action? This is not acceptable and Prasa needs to improve their site maintainance urgently. Please see if you can 'breathe some life' into them.
