HYGIENE WOES

I had the unfortunate experience of having visited the toilets at Durban Station on Wednesday. To my utter disgust and dismay the toilets left a lot to be desired......literally. There were no toilet paper provided, the toilets had sanitary towels lying on the floor. The floors were wet with water and urine. Sheer hell, especially for an elderly person who has to visit the toilet before boarding a bus. I walked in and was forced to walk out immediately due to the stench and absolutely filthy conditions of the toilets. I feel there is a constant need for Prasa to employ a full time cleaner to tend to these issues. It makes no sense upgrading the Station when the basic need for hygiene isn't a priority.
