DUMB + DUMBER!
Needed to book ticket on Shosholoza Meyl train. One can't do booking online unless it is 3 weeks in advance; therefore one has to go to Park Station to book which is a horrific place for lone female in 60's. Needed to borrow car to go book. Needed to know what time office opens. Get call centre no off Internet plus an +11 no. Days of calling and over R200 airtime + listening to repetetive ads; no person answers. Send 4 emails no response. Finally in desperation find Pretoria Prasa HO no. Phone. Explain to lady. She says but you don't need to go to Park Station. Go to any Shoprite. Thank her. Borrow car put petrol get to Shoprite. Stand in long Queue. Finally my turn; get told no we only do plane and bus. Tell them Prasa themselves HO said you do. They assure me they do not do Shosholoza Meyl. Surely Prasa HO would not direct one to Shoprite if not so. Go to another Shoprite. They confirm Shoprite do not do train bookings. Its cost me over R400 altogether (HUGE amt for an OAP) just to try find out what time Prasa Park Station Booking office opens. What an *********** lot of dummies. Most of SA citizens know the history past + present of Prasa top knobs - they all rotten!
