PQ in fourways mall could not exchange morning shoes because i lost the till lip

I bought same morning shoes for my child and same other stuff in the shop that coz i was doing washing, but unfortunately i lost the till lip when i went to the shop the following day there told me they can't exchange for me its by law that if you don't have a till slip they can't exchange ( PQ fourways mall)
