Your 10 day turnaround for processing a claim is quickly turning into 10 months. Despicable and ironically unPROFESSIONAL service PPS - all for sake of a profit share????!!!!!!!!!!

I do not understand the purpose of the survey you sent out recently. I was very honest and clear of dissatisfaction with how you handle claims.

I have asked for this matter to be escalated, Dr's provided all the information you required, then just like that, "this claim will be set aside and put on hold until we have the information we require". In August mind you. a claim from last year???

The sad thing is, you pretend to be caring and professional, yet when loyal clients need to claim, you would rather keep them on hold instead of paying out the confirmed documents and dates. Do you realize that the reason we have this insurance to start with is, for one, all the additional expenses that go hand in hand with medical fees, regardless which medical aid plan you are on.

Currently, my claim has been conveniently put aside, why: because - " I did not see a doctor during Nov and Dec 2021. " 1. your assessors have gone through my claim by the specialist who saw me in Jan 2022. 2. I was referred to said specialist by the doctor who treated me for severe COVID complications from July last year. 3. Because of COVID, the earliest appointment I could get was in Jan 2022. 4. I have not resumed full duties since I contracted COVID. 5. However, PPS is of the mind that, because I did have a Doctors visit in NOV-DEC 21, I must have some how miraculously returned to 100% health while I waited to see the specialist. 6. Then, a specialist who basically reported in my claim forms that I am actually not well, and indicated that I cant resume full occupational duties until she reviews me in Jan 2023, must somehow confirm that even Nov and Dec I was ill. When she had not yet seen me!!!!!?????? 7. You are unwilling to pay for NOV and Dec 21.

8. Please pay out the claim submitted by my treating specialist for this year. That has already been assessed (despite your unnecessary back and forth queries), it is by a doctor who saw THIS year, there is NO reason why you are deliberately holding it back. 9. My medical bills are mounting.

10. By the way, advising your employer (my financial advisor) to call me and ask me to indicate in my claim that I was sick all the other months, EXCEPT nov and Dec (for reasons above), is extremely poor and ********* of you as a company insuring professionals of all things.

KINDLY PROCESS MY CLAIM (of, course, the specialist claim) SO I CAN CONTINUE PAYING MY MONTHLY PPS premiums in addition to all the other costs of being ill for this long.!!!!!!

Your 10 day turnaround for processing a claim is quickly turning into 10 months.

This is the last communication I received from PPS' claims administrator.

For what reason, I don't know!!! It does not even make sense what is being requested here.

Kindly PROCESS and pay out my claim which was submitted by my treating specialist, which you finally accepted, but will rather sit with to ********* me with for miraculously being 100% fit for duty NOV and DEC 21.

I will escalate the matter of Nov and Dec 2021 to the Ombudsman for short term insurance.

In the meanwhile pay out my claim for this year.

The sad truth, is that my health has deteriorated, and since July 22, I'm actually completely off my duties until the review in Jan 23. But just the THOUGHT dealing with you guys again in this regard, already raises my heart rate. Which is counterintuitive for my recovery.

Herewith the last communication I received from PPPS. Your claims process is tedious and very poor quality to say the least.

"Dear Valued Member

Further to our emails, for us to continue assessment of the claim we required the following:

Should you be claiming for the period from 03 November 2021 till 06 January 2022 – we require a fully completed declaration by doctor form Should you be claiming for the period from 11 December 2021 to ongoing – we require a fully completed declaration by member form"

Now you tell me how myself or any of my treating Doctors, must now claim to have seen me in during these times, WHILE I WAITED TO SEE THE SPECIALIST?????????
