Still awaiting refund after policy cancellation

On the 28th March 2017 I cancelled two of my PPS policies (critical illness and SPPI). I emailed a letter stating this to PPS. On the 29th March 2017 PPS sent me an email with all the standard cancellation information. In that document it stated that I would be refunded on the 10th of the next calender month as I had cancelled after the 15th of the current month. The email also said that a consultant would contact me within 8 working hours.

Days passed and I awaited a call or correspondence via email. I evetually called the Tygerberg branch on the 11th April 2017 after not receiving any refund and I was given a number to call to Joburg. When I called there and asked if they can call me back they said they unable to make outgoing calls as there is something wrong with their phones. This upset me as their fault became an extra expense for me. My airtime eventually ran out and they did call me back. That's dishonesty.

I spoke to Kgalaletso ***e who introduced herself as Kgali. She said there has been a delay because i did not complete a PPS cancellation form. I was irrate because nobody forwarded this to me.

On the 11th she emailed me the form and I went to have it printed to complete and then scan and resent it on the same day.

Today it is the 18th April 2017. Still no response or feedback from Kgali. I emailed again today as I cannot afford to call to Joburg every time and having my time and money wasted.

Please assist me as I want my refund!
