PPS continues debit orders on my account after cancelling contracts

I cancelled my agreement with PPS on 25 May. They first claimed that they did not receive my cancellation and instituted a debit order on the 1st of June. During June they admitted that they received the cancellation, and committed to refund me for that debit order in writing. Then, on the 1st of July they had the audacity to institute another debit order on my account.

I cancelled my policy in the first place because of their utter incompetence. They listed a completely fictitious (or maybe not?) beneficiary on my life policy.

Is this not ********?

My advice: Be very weary of this company.
