Poor service again from PPS !

I called PPS directly to report a fault with my pool pump. An assessor came out, and I was on site the entire time. The full "assessment" consisted of opening the pump box, switching it on, testing the electrical feed, listening to it for a few seconds, and closing it again. No parts were removed, tested, or inspected.

Weeks later, I received notice that my claim was declined due to "wear and tear," supported by a technical report — despite no actual physical assessment of the components taking place. I have no idea how that conclusion was reached.

Since then I've called, I've queried, I've waited over two weeks for a proper response. Nothing.

I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I pay for short-term insurance so that when something genuinely breaks, it's covered. Instead I've had a rushed, superficial assessment and radio silence.

If this is the standard of service and claims handling policyholders can expect from PPS, I'd think twice before trusting them with a claim that actually matters.

Nothing, I recieved a call from the Retentions department that assured me that they would get back to me the next day after they escalated the matter and that's more than a 2 weeks ago. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PPS ??? This cannot be by accident - this must be deliberate !
