Non-responsiveness and false promises

In January 2017 we met with a senior financial planner to sort out some life insurance, wills and a cohabitation agreement. After months of communication and meeting with a financial planner, we still have not signed any of the documents, despite having paid roughly R6k for the services.

We have had to follow up multiple times to beg for service. Despite being promised that our documents are ready to be signed, we still haven't signed anything.

When asked why our planner has recommended a number of random insurance products to us, we have received no explanation as to why we need them given our specific circumstances.

We acknowledge that there was a delay on our part as a result of taking two months to gather all the documents that were required to complete a financial plan. However, the rest of the delays have been the fault of our planner.

Despite hearing great things about PPS and having great experience of Profmed, we would not recommend PPS. If we hadnt already paid for the service in full we would have abandoned PPS months ago. Lesson learned.
