10 weeks and still no result on my sickness benefit claim

I submitted my claim after being in hospital in the beginning of September. After 2 months I followed up my claim and was told via email that the doctors have not sent my medical records. After phoning the doctor's rooms they told me that PPS never collected the records from them... I was then on the phone with someone from PPS and I organised fornthem to get the records on my own. The person on the phone apologised profusely and promised me that my claim would be escalated and resolved quickly. This was two weeks ago!!! I have since requested my broker to get me quotes from other insurers as I am highly dissatisfied with the way PPS conducts their business... I am literally just waiting for a call or email to update me with regards to my claim. Is it really so difficult to keep people informed on claims????

Finally my claim was resolved. Just a pity that one has to complain on hellopeter first before something happens... I would suggest that PPS work on their communication s****s as these are close to non existent.
