Cement mixer nearly kills cyclist

While not related to the industry I felt this is a suitable platform for my complaint; On the morning of 16/10/2021 I was very nearly run over by one of your truck drivers while cycling. I was entering Great North in a northern direction via Eldorado street, riding on the emergency side of the yellow line.

As I turned the corner the driver, who was advancing along Great North road in the same direction, proceeded to cross a solid line drive directly through two lanes and cross into the emergency lane. If I had not taken evasive action he would have hit me at a considerable speed.

My evasive action caused me to go onto the gravel, and as a result I lost control of my bike and crashed onto Great North, sustaining injuries to my right leg and elbow, with damage to my bicycle.

While I was able to ride away from the site I discovered that my bike had sustained considerable damage.

I complained via their website with no response for nearly 3 weeks. After I sent a reminder I got as reply, but nothing since then but a reference number - CAS-11208-V4S1Q3
